Amina Mwangi

Amina Mwangi is the Managing Partner of Kimtai Advocates. She leads the firm's banking and finance practice and oversees the firm's strategic growth across the East African region.

Amina joined the firm in 2005 and was elevated to equity partner in 2012. She holds an LLB from Strathmore University and an LLM in International Banking Law from University College London.

She regularly advises commercial banks, development finance institutions, and private equity funds on lending transactions, structured finance, and regulatory matters. Amina is also a certified mediator and serves on the panel of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration.
